About

A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and a Sundance Fellow, Stavros has written five produced features, including the multi-award winning SHIRLEY ADAMS (2009), directed by Oliver Hermanus and produced by Roland Emmerich. SIEGE ON LIPERTI STREET (2020), his debut as a writer-director had its national premiere at the 2019 Thessaloniki International Film Festival where it won 5 awards including the FIPRESCI and Audience awards. The film was then acquired by HBO Europe.
